Iona Beach Regional Park
Located beside Sea Island (home of the Vancouver International Airport), Iona Beach Regional Park contains 20 km (12 mi) of sandy shoreline. The park is shaded from city lights at night so it is an ideal spot for watching the stars. Visitors can also cycle the park's back roads. Garry Point City Park
Provides for spectacular views of the Fraser River and the Gulf Islands. Located close to Steveston's historic fishing village, this large waterfront park features a fisherman's memorial, historic docks, a japanese garden, and public art.

Richmond Nature Park
The Richmond Nature Park is located in the centre of town and consists of 5km of trails in 40.5 hectares of forest and bog land. Whatever the season the park has something to see. Of particular interest are the humming birds in spring, and the fall foliage which also marks the arrival of owls and other migratory birds. In winter coyotes are present and many different species of winter birds can be observed.
